BRAC and BRAC University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 9th, 2024, to strengthen the skills training offered by BRAC Institute of Skills Development (BRAC ISD) . This collaboration aims to revamp BRAC ISD's curriculum, incorporating digital trends, industry needs, and diverse learning styles. The MoU signifies a commitment to quality training by evaluating current trainers as well as curriculum. Joint efforts will focus on developing self-paced training modules, expanding the content repository, and attracting a wider range of youth, particularly for technical and digital courses.
The MoU also includes the way for collaborative research and international opportunities leveraging BRAC's extensive network. This strategic partnership signifies BRAC's dedication to equipping Bangladesh's youth with the skills needed to thrive in the digital age. Signatories to the MoU included Tasmiah Tabassum Rahman, Associate Director of BRAC Skills Development Programme, and Sadia Hamid Kazi, Chairperson and Associate Professor of BRAC University.
