Brac University (BracU) will be the top choice for institutions based in the United Kingdom, which are seeking to join forces and engage in collaboration, for all share the same visions, said Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Vincent Chang on Wednesday (30 April 2019).
The comment came during a visit of British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Chatterton Dickson and British Council Deputy Director Andrew Newton to the university’s Mohakhali campus that day.
The trio sat for a discussion lasting some two and a half hours when Professor Vincent gave an overview of BracU’s vision and shed light on BracU’s role in the development of higher education in Bangladesh.
He assured that BracU was ready to embark in the partnerships since it was moving forward to become globally recognised.
The meeting also discussed possible areas of association, which would be facilitated by the British High Commission in Bangladesh and British Council, and all sides agreed that there were a lot of scopes for cooperation which could bring positive outcomes in higher education.
