BRAC University Vice-Chancellor Professor Vincent Chang recently met with Princeton University President Professor Christopher Eisgruber and its top academic officials.
Professor Eisgruber appreciated Professor Chang’s mission and vision for BRAC University. BRAC University’s drive towards internationalization sparked Princeton’s interest in academic collaborations.
Collaboration potentials were discussed with Provost Professor Deborah Prentice and Associate Provost Professor Aly Kassam-Remtulla. Scopes of undergraduate student exchanges came up in talks with Elizabeth Colagiuri, Deputy Dean of the College, and Trisha Thorme, Director of the Program for Community-Engaged Scholarship.
Professor Amaney Jamal, Dean of Public and International Affairs, expressed interest in engaging with BRAC University on development studies.
Professor Chang discussed about BRAC University’s work encompassing humanitarian programs, development studies, and public health with Professor Jeremy Adelman, Director of the Global History Lab. Professor Chang also discussed BRAC University’s impact and research with Professor Benjamin Conisbee Baer, Director of the program in South Asian Studies.
