International students of Brac University have started to arrive to join the Spring 2021 semester. Around 21 students from Nigeria, Pakistan and Uganda flew in over the weekend. A team comprised of the members of Brac University’s International Office and university’s operations team were waiting to receive the students at the airport.
These international students will remain in quarantine for 14 days at the Savar Residential Campus, of Brac University and afterwards will continue to enjoy its facilities until classroom study begins. The students were greeted at the Savar Residential Campus by Mr. Jonathan Cartmell, Vice-President International, Ms. Ismat Shereen, Head of Relationship Management Office, and Mr Rehan Ahmed, Director of Residential Campus and received an introductory orientation session.
In spite of the challenges of Covid-19 pandemic, Brac University has achieved substantial growth both in domestic and international student’s enrolment. The university will have more than 200 international students enrolled for the Spring 2021 semester.
