Thirty nine students of the Bangladesh Studies (DEV 101; BBA and Economics, & DEV 103; Architecture) course were taken on a study visit to Mahastangarh and Paharpur in Bogra and Naogaon districts on December 19-20, 2002 as part of their course work. The students were advised to acquire practical knowledge on Bengali history, culture, literature, politics related to different archaeological sites. In Mahasthangarh, they visited Govinda Bhita Temple, Bairagi Bhita Temple, Khodai Pathar Mount, Mankalir Bhita, Parsuram's Palace, Jiat Kunda and the Mahasthangarh Museum. They also visited Paharpur Museum and some other archeological sites at Paharpur. Professor Dr. Enamul Haque, the course teacher, Ms. Nadia (Lecturer) and Mr. Wohab (Teaching Assistant), Department of Economics & Social Science accompanied the students.
