One student, Sinthia Kabir Mumu performed her thesis presentation required under MIC 450 (Research Project, Thesis) course on Thursday, 28 September, 2017 in Room UB 21511 of the MNS Department. The title of her thesis was ‘Antimicrobial activity of Tea Tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolin) against skin infection causing bacteria and comparison of its effectiveness with that of the Eucalyptus oil, Lemongrass oil and conventional antibiotics.’ She was supervised by Dr. M. Mahboob Hossain.
The viva-voce examinations for the presentation was chaired by Professor Dr. A. F. M. Yusuf Haider and attended by Professor Mahboob Hossain, Mr. Mahbubul Hasan Siddique, Ms. Fahareen Bita Mosharraf, Ms. Namista Islam and Ms. Nazneen Jahan.
