Training session on 'Safeguarding Framework' held

A day-long training session on 'Safeguarding Framework' was held by the Sexual Harassment, Exploitation, Bullying and Ragging Elimination Committee (SHEBREC) at BRAC University on Thursday, 21 July 2022.

Barrister Janefa Jabbar, Director of Social Compliance and Safeguarding, and Chair of Sexual Harassment Redressal Committee (SHRC), BRAC, conducted the Training Session. BRAC University Registrar, Dr. David Dowland, Proctor, Dr. Rubana Ahmed and Joint Director of Campus Life, Ms. Tahsina Rahman, along with other senior officials of various departments participated in this Training Session.

This initiative is part of the BRAC University’s effort to introduce a comprehensive Campus Safeguarding Framework and enhance its commitment to preventing and building awareness of sexual harassment, exploitation, bullying, and other forms of discrimination.
