Ms. Mahreen Mamoon, Assistant Professor of BRAC Business School has received the prestigious David Ross Fellowship 2022 from Purdue University to pursue her Ph.D. at the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. This highly competitive and prestigious award is given only to the most outstanding applicants to Purdue University.
Mahreen has been with the Business School since 2015 as a faculty as well as a mentor for internationally recognized completions for the students. She has been an integral part of the ongoing curriculum and pedagogical revolution that the Business School is aspired to achieve. Mahreen was one of the co-chairs of the 3rd International Conference on Business and Management. She is currently leading the project operations for the Women Empowerment Center at the Business School.
Mahreen aims to conduct her research on entrepreneurial curriculum, female pedagogy, and gender inclusivity in South Asian Curriculum practices. Being a passionate teacher, Mahreen pursued a second master’s in education and now with the astounding opportunity from Purdue, one of the top 10 most innovative universities in America, she aspires to make a solid contribution in the fields of education and research. Mahreen wishes to dedicate her success to all her female students.
