Dewan Fairose Lamisa, an alumna of the Department of Economics and Social Sciences at BRAC University, has received an offer to pursue a PhD at Rutgers University. Her PhD is in intersections of social demography and suicide prevention, with an interest in using computational methodologies. The fully funded package as a department fellow consists of an academic fellowship and graduate teaching assistantship under the Department of Sociology.
