Brac University acknowledges that students are still facing financial distress due to the continued COVID-19 pandemic. As such the university is providing financial assistance for the Fall 2021 semester similar to the Summer 2020, Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021 semesters:
The following Policies & Procedures are applicable for the Fall 2021 Semester:
Waiver for All Students:
- All students will get a 100% waiver on the non-tuition fee.
- All students will get a 10% waiver on the tuition fee.
Additional financial assistance for undergraduate students:
- Brac University will provide further assistance to undergraduate students who are under particular difficulties due to death, illness or financial distress directly caused by COVID19 in the immediate family/legal guardian/financial sponsor. Successful applicants will get further waiver on the remaining tuition fee (on a case-to-case basis) net of the general 10% waiver which is provided to all students.
Payment in Installments:
- Students under financial distress can also apply for payment in installments.
How to apply for Additional Financial Assistance for Undergraduate Students:
- Undergraduate students who want to apply for further assistance need to complete the Application Form (link given below)

- Submit the filled-up form with relevant supporting documents (Pls. see in the form): - On or before 16 October 2021 by 11:59 pm (for both the new, and continuing students).
- The applicant is responsible for submitting the form with full information and evidence strictly within the deadline. Forms submitted later or with incomplete information will not be considered.
- Any student who receives a scholarship and who applies for financial assistance from SAF in Fall 2021 will get whichever is higher – the scholarship or financial assistance. Any request to add up assistance from SAF with scholarship and vice versa will not be accepted.

Payment in Installments:
- Both undergraduate, and postgraduate students can apply for an Installment Plan. To apply for Payment in Installments, students need to complete the Application Form (link given below)

- Students applying for installment payment can choose between the following two options, to pay:
- In two equal installments on 07 November 2021 and 02 December 2021.
- In three equal installments on 07 November 2021, 02 December 2021 and 03 January 2022.
