Students registering for the BRACU 12th Convocation are requested to send a passport size photo in bracu2017[at]gmail[dot]com by 26th October 2017.

  • Send photo from the e-mail address you have mentioned in your degree application form.

  • Use formal attire and one color background. This is mandatory.

  • Mention your ID no, Name and Department in the email body. This is mandatory.

  • Failure to submit photo will result in corresponding student’s photo not making it to the Convocation Brochure.

The last date for paying tuition fees:

The last date for paying tuition fees for the applicants/recipients of Scholarships and Financial Aid for Fall-2017 is October 05, 2017 (Thursday).

  • No late fees will be charged within this time.


Note: Scholarship must be adjusted before Mid-Term exam of Fall-2017 semester.

Scholarships/Financial Aid:

Students interested to apply for Scholarships / Financial Aid under any category will need to submit both the recommended application form of BRAC University, available at the Information desk and the Online application form.

Complete the online application form by visiting:

usis.bracu.ac.bd

(Login to your usis account and click on the scholarship button)
If unable to complete the online application, please contact the Information Desk.

  • All new applicants will be required to pay TK. 400/- at the time of submission of the filled out form.
  • Students applying for the Performance Based tuition fee waiver will be required to pay a fee of TK. 400/- at the time of submission of the filled out form.
  • Students applying for renewal of their tuition fee waiver in all categories need not to pay any fee.


Forms will be available at the information desk from August 27, 2017. The last date for submitting the filled out form along with grade sheets and photocopy of advising form is September 17, 2017.

Please note that all categories of tuition fee waiver will depend on the availability of fund.

BRAC University is going to build its new permanent campusfacility in Merul Badda, Dhaka, on 6.29 acres of land which has been donated by BRAC. The building itself will be 1,700,000 square feet. The piling and D-wall for the new campus has already been completed.

For the construction of an iconic building having 3 basements and 13 floors, the contract was awarded to BUCG-ABC Joint Venture. The BUCG International and ABC Limited are renowned names in the construction sector in China and Bangladesh respectively. On September 25, 2017 the contract was signed in a ceremony held at BRAC University. The target is to complete construction of the new campus within 30 months and shift there in early 2020.

BRAC University was established in 2001. At present, the University has 7,023 undergraduate, 1058 graduate, and 298 diploma students studying in 9 departments/schools and 4 institutes. With many innovative programs including launching of Onnesha - the first nano satellite launched by a university in Bangladesh, the newly established Centre for Peace & Justice, a Scholars’ Program, IT integration, the Residential Semester at its Savar campus, and growing recognition in research, the University is poised to bring further dramatic changes to higher education in the foreseeable future, especially in its new campus facilities.
