To continue with the motto, raising awareness against diseases, BRAC University Pharma Society (BUPS) again came forward with an idea to celebrate “World Malaria Day” in this month of April. The event was organized on April 25, 2016 with a slogan “End Malaria For Good”.
On this occasion, the team BUPS arranged an online awareness campaign to convey sustainable message regarding the consequences of malaria to the general mass, which would definitely help them to gather more information about this detrimental disease.
Malaria is always known to be a common disease. It is a mosquito-borne disease that is primarily caused by parasites. The general symptoms of this disease usually include fever, chills and flu-like illness. However, these symptoms, if left untreated, can get complicated and may lead to death. For this reason, raising awareness regarding the adverse effects of malaria and typhoid fever is crucial. In this view, the BUPS had surely carried out a great job to promote awareness.
