BRAC University Vice Chancellor Professor Syed Saad Andaleeb Ph.D. recently attended three conferences on higher education.
Most recently he was invited as a guest speaker to the 8th Indian Education Congress 2018 for the session themed “Educating for Innovation: Innovating for Education.” in New Delhi on 13-14 February 2018. Over the last 8 years, Indian Education Congress has been creating leaders and innovators to shape higher education and showcase what’s next in education via a true thought leadership summit.
Dr. Andaleeb’s session was on Higher Education Horizon and Employability, focusing on the five-year horizon for higher education institutions and the trends and technology developments that would drive higher education change.
Professor Andaleeb was also invited to initiate a discussion at the 6th ASEF Rectors’ Conference (ARC6) in the Working Group 2B: Lifelong Learning: Holistic and Global Education in the SMU School of Law in Singapore on 12-13 October 2017.
He was also the only representative from Bangladesh to attend a high-level, invitation-only international meeting on informal/face-choice learning and National Science Education Policy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 4-6 October 2017 sponsored by the U.S. National Science Foundation.
