The BRAC University Economics Club (BUEC) arranged a trip to Chandina, Comilla on July 22-23, 2005 in order to observe the workings of a newly formed NGO called Development Initiatives for Poverty Alleviation (DIPA). The students interviewed NGO members and non-NGO members within the area in order to get their views on the NGO's operation and progress. On their return, the students prepared a pilot report and presentation on DIPA's development to date in order to expand their analytical capacities.
