A Workshop titled “Promoting Climate Adaptive Technology through Advocacy and Communication (PCAT)” was arranged by BRAC Advocacy for Social Change (ASC) on Monday, August 10, 2015. This workshop was intended to get a feedback from the ASC and BRAC Agriculture and Food Security Program (AFSP) and also from others on the PCAT project accomplished by Center for Climate Change and Environmental Research (C3ER). In that workshop, Md Asif Rahman, Lecturer and Research Associate, BRAC University narrated the presentation on “Promoting Climate Adaptive Technology through Advocacy and Communication (PCAT)”. After that, some participants from different organizations took part in the discussion sessions and gave their valuable comments on the presentation topic. Also, two more presentations were presented as feedback by Dr. Md. Sirajul Islam, Director of BRAC AFSP and Andrea B. Bohn, Associate Director of INGENAES project. The main participants were Nadia Afrin Shams, Senior Policy Specialist, BRAC ASC, Mr. Gowher Nayeem Wahra, Director, DECC, BRAC; Sadrul Hasan Mazumder, Program Coordinator, BRAC ASC, Md Shahid Uddin Akbar, Chief Executive Officer, Bangladesh Institute of ICT in Development and ATM Anwarul Alam, Head of Agri, Win Miaki Ltd. In addition, participants of C3ER include Mr. A S Moniruzzaman Khan, Director (In-Charge); Dr. Sajidur Rahman, Assistant Professor; Roufa Khanum, Lecturer and Coordinator (Operations); Sadya Islam, Research Associate and Hasnaeen Zakir, Research Assistant.
