Dr. Fuad H. Mallick graduated in architecture from BUET in 1983. He practiced architecture for 2 years before receiving a Commonwealth Scholarship in 1985 for a M.Phil degree in Housing Studies from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne UK. He joined BUET as a Lecturer in 1988 and in 1991 went to the Environment and Energy Studies Program at the Architectural Association Graduate School in London for his doctoral studies. He received his Ph.D. in 1994. Dr. Mallick taught at BUET till 1999 and then went on to teach at Eastern Mediterranean University in North Cyprus. He joined BRAC University as an Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Architecture on February 1, 2002.
