C3ER of BRAC University and the OXFAM, an international Non-Government Organization based in England; has developed a shared understanding and entered into a strategic partnership for a period of 5 (five) years. The major objectives of this partner is to establish a mutual beneficial collaboration towards commissioning research, knowledge management and proving 'Resilience through Economic Empowerment, Climate Change Adaptation, Leadership and Learning (REECALL)' as successful resilient development model, share and disseminate learning's and experiences at the national level; as well as explore potential areas of collaboration including joint project proposal development, advocacy with government to change policies and practices. The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding )MoU) was held on March 21, 2016 at the Vice Chancellor’s Conference Room at BRAC University. Professor Syed Saad Andaleeb, Ph.D.; Vice Chancellor of BRAC University and Snehal V. Soneji; Country Director of Oxfam Bangladesh signed the MOU on behalf of BRAC University and Oxfam Bangladesh. Dr. Farhat M. Iftekharuddin, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Current charge); Mr. A S Moniruzzaman Khan, Director (In-charge) of C3ER and other staff from both party attended the ceremony. The formality was ended with a pledge to look forward to a productive and wonderful partnership.
