OCSAR participated at the event of Pi Day celebrated in SFX Greenherald International School on 14 March 2016.
Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159.
The day was celebrated to remind the students of the importance of a strong STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education as a vehicle that inspires ongoing innovation in the upcoming generation.
Mr. Ivan Shafaat Bari, Director, OCSAR and Mr. Kazi Shahnoor Kabir, Senior Officer, OCSAR and Mr. Mark Bartholomew, Consultant, PDC, attended the event form BRACU to encourage students to utilize technology, to drive innovation, which will create a better life.
