Two students of BS in microbiology program defended their undergraduate theses on 25th October, 2018 in Room UB21511 of the MNS Department. Marriyen Shatu Rozario presented the results of her study in the field medical microbiology titled “Review on signs and symptoms of Chikungunya disease and individual health economic loss associated with the outbreak in Dhaka” and Adiba Masum presented the results of her research study in the field of environmental microbiology titled “A case study of lung cancer patients in term of various risk factors in context of Bangladesh” respectively.
One student of BS Microbiology program presented her internship report on the same day. The student was Olema Taj Rahman.
The Viva-Voce Examination for the presentation was chaired by Professor A F M Yusuf Haider, Chairperson, Department of MNS and Ms Fahareen-Binta Mosharraf Senior Lecturer of the Microbiology program, Nazneen Jahan, Lecturer of the same program, were also present as members of the Examination Committee. The committee highly commended the work carried out by the students.
