Nine students, Kopol Debnath Dip, Sunayna Hossain, Humaira Nur, Hasanul Karim Raffi, Shabnam Syeed, Permita Mazumder, Rabeya Tasfire Rudhy, Salma and Fariha Zerin Lamisha presented their internship report under the course BTE 400 (Industrial Attachment) on Wednesday, 1 June, 2017 in Room UB 21511 of the MNS Department.
Nusrat Afrin, a student of biotechnology program defended her thesis on the same day under the course BTE450. Her topic was “Antimicrobial activity of Aloe vera leaf and clove extracts, comparison with commercial antibiotics and molecular analysis of genes involved with multidrug resistance in bacteria”. Professor Mahboob Hossain was the supervisor of the thesis.
The Viva-Voce examination for the presentation was chaired by Professor A. A. Z. Ahmad and attended by Professor Mahboob Hossain, Dr. Aparna Islam, Ms.Romana Siddique and Ms. Zubaida Marufee Islam.
