Three students, Mahmud-Ur-Rahman, Ishtiak Ahmed Chowdhury and Afifa Noor performed their thesis presentation required under BTE 450 (Research Project, Thesis) course on Thursday, 23 November 2017 in Room UB 21511 of the MNS Department. The title of their thesis were “Characterization and analysis of major risk factors of the kidney patients of Bangladesh: A retrospective study”, “Prevalence of epidemiological influence, risk factors of type 2 Diabetes mellitus and analysis of hypertension as a complication among the relatively newly diagnosed patients from BIRDEM hospital” and
“A Comparative Study: Screening of Some Bangladeshi Medicinal Plants for Antibacterial Properties” respectively. Mahmud-Ur-Rahman was supervised by Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Ishtiak Ahmed Chowdhury was jointly supervised by Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam and Dr. Parvin Akter Khanam and Afifa Noor was supervised by Ms. Kashmery Khan.
The Viva-Voce Examinations for the presentations was chaired by Professor Dr. A. F. M. Yusuf Haider and attended by Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Ms. Romana Siddique and Ms. Kashmery Khan.
