On 9th April 2016, as part of community services, PDC organized a teacher development workshop at its GDLN centre. There were twenty one participants, mostly senior teachers and academic coordinators, from five schools and one development organization, namely Greenherald, Sunnydale, Turkish Hope, Jaago Foundation, Lakehead Grammar, and AKMIS. The participatory and interactive session was facilitated by Dr Mohammad Golam Jamil, Dr Mark Bartholomew and Muhammad Foysal Mubarak. The participants shared the best educational practice of their respective institutions. They however raised concerns about the poor quality of the student learning experience at secondary level across Bangladesh. They suggested that tertiary level educational institutions in the country should come forward to assist primary and secondary institutions in improving the overall quality of education.
