All students of Residential Semester visited major archaeological sites including Paharpur Buddhist Monastery and Museum in Naogaon, and Mahasthangarh in Bogra on March 23, 2007. Course Instructors of Bangladesh Studies, other teachers and staff of BRACU accompanied the students during the visit. Course Instructors Dr. Nurul Huda Abul Monsur and Kamrul Hasan gave on-the-spot briefings on the archaeological sites and explained historical significance to the students. Earlier, BRAC's Songrami Popular Theatre Group of Bogra staged a folk-drama and rendered folk-songs for visiors at Training and Resources Centre Conference Room in the evening on 22 March in Bogra.
