Peace of mind is a natural state, and is available to everyone. Sometimes, in this fast pace of life, we caught up in a hurry of time, lose our connection with life, with ourselves, and forget to enjoy the joyous journey of life. In that case, meditation helps to take a break for a while and pay attention to appreciate how precious life is. Meditation is the breath of our soul. It’s like giving a hug to ourselves and getting in touch with the astounding reality within us.
With this awareness, the Counseling Unit of BRAC University hosted a workshop on “Meditation: A Piece of Peace” for the students on Monday, August 03, 2015 from 03:30pm-04:30pm. Three very effective guided meditations were conducted and these were:
Through this short meditation journey, the participants got the opportunity to relieve stress, enhance peace and connect with the inner self. Total thirty participants were present at this workshop and they highly appreciated it. In the feedback form, the participants shared a great deal of satisfaction from the meditations conducted, expressed that the workshop was very much effective as well as relaxing. The participants also conveyed their interest to do more of this type of workshop on a regular basis.
