Twenty five students of IEEE BRAC University Student Branch visited the Rahimafrooz Batteries Ltd. (RBL) on Saturday, 17 November 2018. The battery factory is situated at Zirani Bazar, Gazipur. A teacher and a teaching assistant of the department accompanied the students. The goal of the tour was to familiarize the students with the automobile battery manufacturing process. Mr Md. Jahangir, head of administration, received the students at the premises. Then the Head of the Manufacturing, Mr Partha Pratim Kundu, gave a presentation on the overall operation of Rahimafrooz. The student members were divided into two teams and escorted by the staff to visit their whole operational ground. Students got to know about how dry cell and other types of battery, how they are manufactured and exported nationally and internationally by Rahimafrooz.
