Centre for Peace and Justice organized a Research Dissemination Seminar on the 17th of December, 2019, on the ‘Role of Faith and Faith-inspired Actors in Education’. The Centre for Peace and Justice (CPJ) at Brac University and the World Faiths Development Dialogue (WFDD) at the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs at Georgetown University are engaged in a three-year research partnership to explore the faith dimensions of development and social cohesion. As a part of this project, we are exploring the role of faith and faith-inspired actors in education in Bangladesh.
Intending to strive for plurality and diversity, the seminar had a diverse attendance and engagement in this important topic. The seminar focused on the preliminary research findings along with feedback and refection. The seminar also engaged the participants in a policy exercise that inspired rich discussion and insights.
