Neealana Naushin, a Lecturer of the School of General Education of BRAC University, recently took part in a training on entrepreneurship and innovation at Stanford University and University of California, Berkeley.
Design Thinking training and the Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship is a three-week teaching method that empowers entrepreneurs with training from academics, startup founders and technopreneurs.
Speakers were Dr Barry Katz from Stanford University, Yoav Shapira, Director of Engineering at Meta, Dr. Kern Peng, Engineering Manager at Intel, Dr. Anca Dragon from InterACT Lab, Leonard Lee from 500 Global, Linda Yu from SoftBank Investment, Stephanie Sterck form Deloitte and several other entrepreneurs and corporate leaders.
The training included seminars and workshops conducted at Intel, 500 Global, NVIDIA, Apple, Salesforce, Seatrec, Techstars and other companies based at Silicon Valley, California.
An entrepreneur herself, Naushin is currently engaged with the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development for the enhancement of its capacity, promotion of collaborative opportunities, building partnerships, and empowering aspiring technopreneurs of BRAC University.
