During the retreat, a talk/lecture was arranged by Mr. Md. Mr. Rahman shared his knowledge and expertise of land law through providing the students with historical background of land acquisition in Bangladesh and its application at present and impeccably painted a picture of its possible future. The question-answer session between the Guest and the students took about half an hour followed by the talk/lecture. The scenic beauty of the resort was amazing.
After the talk/lecture, students had some leisure period where they got involved in recreational activities and felt enriched by this whole experience. School of law believes that The retreat is an attempt to create a linkage between their theoretical knowledge with practical points of view outside textbooks. It was a different experience from classroom learning. The method of learning through experience was different. This experience helps students to retain in their memories what they have learned for a much longer period.
