Md. Ashraful Alam, PhD
Associate Professor
Dr. Md. Ashraful Alam has joined as an Assistant Professor at Department of Computer Science and Engineering in BRAC University in January 2016. Prior to joining BRAC University, Dr. Alam was working as a Post-Doc. at School of Information and Communication Engineering in Chungbuk National University, South Korea. He received his Doctor of Engineering degree in Computer and Communication Engineering from the same university in February 2015. During his PhD program, he had been awarded “BK21 Best Student Award” in 2014 for his outstanding achievements as a BK21 scholar. Before joining PhD program, he had been working as a Lecturer at Department of Mechatronics Engineering in World University of Bangladesh, Dhaka, Bangladesh from April 2008 to February 2010. Dr. Alam has published more than 30 articles in reputed international journals, conferences (international and Korean domestic), seminars and workshops proceedings. He is also engaged as Reviewer, Editorial Board Member, and Lead Guest Editor (Special issue) in international journals.
