The main goal of organizing such program was to make people aware about the importance, necessity and the impact of national budget on mass people. Dr. Mirza Azizul Islam claimed that if GDP increases, the investment in various sectors rises and if job opportunity can be created through this budget, the people of Bangladesh will be largely benefited. He also claimed that price hike will not occur after the declaration of this year’s budget as there is a huge agricultural production of food grains across the country. Then Dr. Saleh Uddin Ahmed said the budget should be based on enduring the financial security of common people. There is a need of the increase of GDP but the expected 7% rate is tough to achieve. In the budget it is believed that Bangladesh will become a developed country by 2041. Later, Dr. Hafiz G A Siddiqui began his speech by saying that government should emphasize on higher education. There should be a quality primary & secondary education system as well.
