The MPH students successfully completed the first module, 'Introduction to Public Health' a two-week course from January 23 to February 01, 2007. The course was co-taught by Dr. Alayne Adams (Columbia University), Dr. Richard Cash (Harvard University) and Dr. Mushtaque Chowdhury, Dean of the School of Public Health. Dr. Farah Mehjabeen was the teaching assistant for the course.
The students began the second core module 'Anthropological Approaches to Public Health and Qualitative Research Methods,' on February 4, 2007, and the course will end on March 1, 2007. The course is co-taught by Sjaak van der Geest (Amsterdam University), and Drs. Shahaduz Zaman and Sabina Faiz Rashid, School of Public Health. Dr. Nasima Selim is the teaching assistant for the course.
