During 8 to 9 August 2015, a refresher ToT training for Bangladesh Government’s Capacity building for Information Technology Engineers Examination (ITEE) management was held at Long Beach Hotel Cox’s Bazar. Prof. SM Farhad, BUET, Assoc. Prof Shohrab Hossain, BUET, Saifuddin Mahmud, KUET,Zakaria Rabbi, KUET, Mahboob Karim, BCC Khulna, FirozAlam, BCC Rajshahi, Md. Nobir Uddin, ICT Division, MoPTIT, Rajib Hasan Mazumder, DataSoft Systems Bangladesh Ltd, Hoque Dr. M. Moshiul, CUET, Dr. Md. Mr. Kenji Fukuoka and Mr. Yukinobu Miyamoto conducted the training with translation by Mr. Watanabe. Mr. Hideo Hoya, Chief Advisor of ITEE project, and Mr. Akihiro Shoji, both long-term experts from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) were present. The training introduced Tankyu Chart and Hanpuku methods for planning. They also shared their experience from training at Kobe Institute of Computing (KIC), Japan. They suggested how to adapt their methods for improvement of IT Engineers from Bangladesh in international ITEE examinations. The training concluded with certificate distribution by Mr. S M Ashraful Islam, Executive Director, Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC), Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology (MoPTIT) and Engr. Mohammad Enamul Kabir, Project Director, ITEE, BDITEC.
