The MPH students remained extremely busy completing their Independent research study from early December 2005. It was decided that the students would spend the last 8-10 weeks of their MPH degree carrying out primary research on a public health topic of their choice. The purpose of the Independent Study is for the students to be able to synthesize and integrate the full range of MPH knowledge and skills at the end of the coursework period. Each student will be expected to carry out research using both qualitative and quantitative skills. The faculty attended a Christmas party organized by the MPH students on December 25, 2005 at Niketon.
