The Food Security Nutritional Surveillance Project (FSNSP) organized a three day refresher training from 13-15 October, 2014 just before round 15 phase-I data collection. This training was mainly focused on the data collection, interview techniques, anthropometric measurements, use of Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and smart phones. The topics/ modules were as follows:
- Household demographic, socioeconomic status and livelihood indicators
- Household food consumption and diversity
- Food security
- Natural disasters, domestic crises and coping strategies
- Anthropometric status (stunting, underweight, wasting) of children aged less than 5- years, adolescent girls and women of reproductive age and pregnant women
- Maternal and Child nutrition,
- Water and Sanitation for Health (WASH)
- Early childhood development (ECD),
- Health (morbidity, mortality & Health Care Utilization (HCU)) of children and mothers (vitamin A and IFA)
- Market price of consumer goods
