BRAC University Adventure Club (BUAC) organized a hiking to Sylhet with a group of 47 members, including both students and teachers from 24-26 August 2015. The journey started 24th of August from BRAC University for Amberkhana, Sylhet. A short microbus ride took them to Hadarpar bazaar from where they began hiking through the countryside to Bichanakandi. It was quite a long trail covering the nearby village surrounded by stunning hills, valleys, and wildlife depicting the untouched wild of Bangladesh. After completing their hiking they head to another beautiful place- Pangthumai. A direct boat ride along the Piain River took them to the Borohill waterfall of Pangthumai. Next day they began toward Jaflong by microbus. The hills and houses of Meghalaya could be seen on the other side of the valley of Jaflong. The group marveled at the view while nibbling on snacks from local vendors. It was undoubtedly a majestic trip as everyone had an unforgettable time experiencing and unfolding the eternal beauty of Sylhet.
