Jolsha is a BRAC University Cultural Club flagship event organized by the freshers, for the freshers and with the freshers. This Summer the freshers of the club decided to organize a 90’s themed event – a theme that was thoughtfully chosen because 90’s is the decade when not only the freshers but also majority of the current BRAC University student body were all children and the purpose of this event in the eyes of the club was to reminisce the childhood.
After over a week of club meetings, mind boggling brain storming, intense rehearsals and decorations, Jolsha 16.1 finally came to life. The show comprised of versatile dance routines and songs performed by the freshers themselves, under constant supervision and support from their esteemed seniors at the club. Not only did these highly talented freshers excel at on stage live performances, they also anchored throughout the entire show, continuously interacting with the audience – making them feel welcome and a part of the BRAC University Cultural Club family.
