CRBLP signed an MOU with the Linguistics Department of the University of Dhaka to build a research partnership with the goal of increasing our national capacity in the field of Computational Linguistics on March 10, 2007. A key component is to develop the underlying linguistic framework that is needed to further the Computational Linguistics work being done at CRBLP; another is to jointly develop Bangla linguistic resources such as lexica, corpora and dictionaries.
