BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health and UNICEF-Bangladesh hosted a workshop on “Creating Evidence on Multi-Sectoral Programming for Adolescents” on 18 July. Funded by the World Bank, the objective of this workshop was to bring together a variety of stakeholders to learn about and identify opportunities for improving nutritional status of adolescents in Bangladesh.
Mr. Shamim Iqbal (Additional Secretary, Medical Education and Family Welfare; and Director, Administration, DGFP, MoHFW) was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Dr. A B M Muzaharul Islam (Director, IPHN; Line Director, NNS, Institute of Public Health Nutrition, DGHS, MoHFW); and Dr. Mohammed Sharif (Director, MCH- Services; and Line Director [MCRAH], MCH Services Unit, DGFP, MoHFW) were the Special Guests of the event. Dr. Malabika Sarker (Professor and Director, Centre of Excellence for Science of Implementation and Scale-up, BRAC JPGSPH) delivered the welcome speech.
