A journal article titled ''Morphological Development of Bangla-speaking Children: A Pilot Study”, authored by Dr. Asifa Sultana was published in The EFL Journal, volume 7, issue 1 from EFL University, Hyderabad, India. The paper presents the findings of a pilot study conducted on the development of verb morphological paradigm in Bangla. The study was carried out with a group of Bangla-speaking children who do not have any identified language difficulties. The purpose of the study was to obtain a preliminary representation of verb inflectional development in Bangla which could be later elaborated in a larger study. Sabreena Ahmed’s English translations of six Bengali short stories by Saleha Chowdhury were anthologized in the book titled Spiders and Other Stories. The anthology is edited and published by Professor Niaz Zaman from writers.ink publishing house.
Mohammad Mahmudul Haque’s four works of translation were published in the anthology titled Of the Nation Born: The Bangaldesh Papers edited by Hameeda Hossain and Amena Mohsin, brought out by Zubaan publishers, New Delhi, India. The anthology is a part of the series called “Zubaan series on sexual violence and impunity in South Asia. Two out of four of the translations are interviews titled “An interview with Maleka Khan: Experiences of Working for Post war rehabilitation of Women” and “An interview with Nilima Ibrahim: Liberation war 1971 and the women rehabilitation foundation”. The other two are articles titled “The Birangonas are Great Freedom Fighters” by Keya Chowdhury and “Stories of Two Women Survivors of Rape in 1971” by Maleka Khan.
