The Professional Skills Training Centre organised training on “Building Capacity for National Programme for Community Nutrition”for a delegate of government officials from Mozambique.The participants are at the forefront of the design and implementation of the National Program for Community Nutrition in the regions targeted by the Ministry of Health project financed by the World Bank in Mozambique.
The training took place from 20-29 March and focused on the activities of community health volunteers, community health workers, IYCF promoters, observation of social mobilisation with fathers, village doctors, health and family planning staffs, monitoring activities and monitoring mechanisms, incentive monitoring, orientation session with traditional birth attendants, and nutritional activities in maternal, neonatal and child health in both urban and rural area.
