The James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University (JPGSPH), in partnership with the Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST), organised a learning workshop on 12 January, 2017, as a part of the capacity building activities of the Recognizing Consent and Choice project. The workshop was a follow-up of the two short courses in 2016, organised for the legal and sexual and reproductive health and rights practitioners. A total of 23 participants were present in this workshop, including representatives from ActionAid, BAPSA, BLAST, Marie Stopes Bangladesh, Phulki, Turning Point Foundation, and We Can/SHOKHI Project. Maheen Sultan (Visiting Fellow, BRAC Institute of Governance and Development), Sara Hossain (Honorary Executive Director, BLAST), Sabina Faiz Rashid (Dean and Professor, JPGSPH), and Najrana Imaan (Team Leader, SHOKHI; Advocate, Bangladesh Supreme Court), were present as the resource person in this workshop.
