The US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the James P Grant School of Public Health formally concluded its three year project, the “Next Generation of Public Health Experts in Bangladesh” (NGPHEP). The project reduced barriers to public health education for a diverse group of Bangladeshi students, along with improving the quality of public health education in the country. A total of 78 scholarships were awarded to students to undertake postgraduate level studies under this initiative.
