The James P Grant School of Public Health conducted the second photography course, “Documenting People on the Margins” from 12 – 23 March for keen photographers looking to enhance their skills in documentary photography and storytelling. The course was facilitated by noted documentary photographer Shehzad Noorani and focused on capturing the marginalised communities living under the shadows of discrimination including people with disabilities, those who suffer from tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, commercial sex workers, and hijra and Bede communities.
A book comprising of selected photos from the course will be published this year.
