The Project for Skills Development of Information Technology (IT) Engineers Targeting Japanese Market undertaken by Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) of Information & Communication Technology Division (ICTD) has organized BD-Question Formulation Meeting (QFM) of the Question Making Committee (QMC), Bangladesh IT-Engineers Examination Center (BD-ITEC). The program took place during 7-10 March 2019 at Waves Meeting Room, Sayeman Beach Resort, Cox'sbazar.
Professor Dr. Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam, Vice Chancellor (VC), Canadian University of Bangladesh and Professor, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), chaired the program. The program included orientation sessions on IT examination questions, how to improve question formulation, drafting, checking, discussion, and revision so that IT students are benefitted in their grooming. Additionally they have discussed ITEE level 2 (FE), ITEE level 3 (AP) examinations, how to prepare for the upcoming fourth industrial revolution in terms of technology, etc.

Bangladesh is trying to introduce ITEE level 3 (AP) following other ITPEC member countries, namely Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Mongolia.
