Residential Semester and RS Counseling Unit are going to observe the World Mental Health Day 2018 with an awareness campaign based on this year’s theme “Young People and Mental Health in a Changing World” on Saturday, 13 October 2018, from 11:30 am to 03:00 pm at the Residential Campus, Savar.
The Campus Superintendent of the Residential Semester, Mr. Rehan Ahmed will inaugurate the event by an opening speech discussing the significance of mental health wellbeing and the need of psychological help among the young adults. Later on, A “Psychological Issue Box” will be launched where students can write their psychological issues and get answers from the counselors on weekly basis. Mr. Rehan Ahmed will explain the importance of the Psychological Issue Box and how students can be benefited by sharing their issues and getting guidelines from the Counseling Unit. Besides, he will also share his observation on counseling service and its expansion inside and outside of the university.
