Launch of academic activities at GSM

I am pleased to announce that academic activities at the Graduate School of Management (GSM) will be launched in the Fall 2020 semester. Brac University’s flagship MBA and EMBA programs, which first started in the Department of Management and Business (MGB), and are currently offered from Brac Business School (BBS), will be migrated to GSM. Separately focusing on graduate programs in management will facilitate their further development, particularly by improving their responsiveness to industry needs. Additionally, it will enable pursuit of the prestigious AACSB accreditation. BBS will continue to strengthen its popular undergraduate (BBA) programs and ultimately focus on securing accreditation from EFMD. Over the next two months, Deans Eileen Peacock and Sang Lee will be working to map out and execute the migration plan. This is a new chapter in business education in Bangladesh, and the prospects are exciting.
