Brac University Vice-Chancellor Professor Vincent Chang has sent a letter of condolences to the UK High Commissioner to Bangladesh on the passing of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh.
In his heartfelt letter to the High Commissioner, Professor Chang shared the thoughts and prayers on behalf of the Brac University community. He also emphasized the significance of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme as a central part of the Brac University's commitment to the development of its students as leaders. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme has inspired numerous young people around the world. "The scheme will be our memorial to His Royal Highness," Professor Chang said in the letter.
The High Commissioner has warmly replied appreciating Brac University's message. "The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is an important part of HRH’s legacy and I am delighted that it has been adopted by BRAC University," said the High Commissioner.
