Field Visit to BRAC Programs

A field trip to Mymensingh was organized by BU for the students of Bangladesh Studies on August 20, 2002. 38 students participated in the field trip, which was aimed at exposing the students to the problems of Rural Bangladesh, and how BRAC was involved in mitigating the sufferings of the people at grass roots level. Professor Nurul Islam, Chairperson, Department of Mathematics and Natural Science, Ms. Fouzia Huq, Accountant, BU and Mr Abdul Wohab, Teaching Assistant of Sociology accompanied the group.
