The James P Grant School of Public Health organised a flagship course on Understanding Disability and SRHR: Problems and Implications in Bangladesh from 23-25 April. The course explored how disability and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) are understood in Bangladesh, opening the platform for discussion about the importance and limitations of rights, specific to people with disabilities. The course was facilitated by Margrit Shildrick (Professor Emerita of Gender and Knowledge Production Linkoping University, Sweden) and Anita Ghai (School of Human Studies, Ambedkar University, India) and attended by researchers, activists and development practitioners from across the country.
