A research paper titled "A Measurement of Customer Service Quality of Banks in Dhaka City of Bangladesh", written jointly by Dr. Nazrul Islam and Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Department of MGB, has been accepted in September 2004 by the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) for its forthcoming SAMF 2004 Conference to be held in Lahore, Pakistan from November 28 to December 01, 2004. AMDISA was established in 1988, with the initiative of leading management development institutions in the SAARC region. AMDISA is recognized by SAARC as a professional association. It is the only association which networks management development centers across the seven nations and promotes partnership between business schools, business leaders and policy administrators to enhance the quality and effectiveness of management education in South Asia. The theme of the SAMF 2004 Conference is Developing Synergies: Facing Management Challenges Together. Lahore University of Management Science (LUMS) and AMDISA will jointly organize the conference. The announcement regarding the selection was made on September 9, 2004.
